Anyway I was thinking that for the next week I'll post all my favourite things. Still not exactly what things they will include but I guess make up, clothes, places, food, books, skin care and maybe some other things that I think of along the way. I was thinking that After that I might post the list of things that I'v always wanted to do and try complete some of them.

Something new that I made
I made this bag about a week or two ago after seeing a tutorial on threadbanger.com. It's not the same material as they used but wanted to use what I had. It was really easy to make and got me back into sewing which I haven't been doing in ages. The flower's where confusing at first but I eventually got the hang of it, the beads I got off my sister ( she makes jewelery so has loads) the other fabric I used was old denim from a pair of jeans I make into a skirt. I used an old broken hair band that had a chain as the wrist band. I love being able to make something new out of something old if that makes sense. I didn't have to buy anything for this bag so I happy. I recently also made to giant beanbags out of a few old smaller ones. I used old curtans for the outside covers and material from old sheets for the inner part and zips that I have had for ages. It was also the first time that I used my new glue gun which I had a lot of fun using and also learnt not to put my finger on the hot glue haha.

My New Challenge
So I've set myself a new challenge this week. I've done a few of the Zumba classes a while ago and have now got the DVDs which look like great fun. I've decided to try and do one workout everyday for the nest few weeks and see how I get on. I had fun doing it in classes and now can do it at anytime that suits me so should be a lot easier to stick to plus a lot cheaper! I even got the shaker hand weights which are really fun to use as long as I don't keep hitting myself in the head with them ha ha. Me and my sister have done two of the workouts so far and yes it's hard but we just keep laughing through the whole workout and it's really good at motivating you. There's also a basic workout that bring you step by step through all the move that you'll be doing, good to have if you get confused easily like me! I hope I do actually stick to this and if I do I'll be fit in no time!

Perseid Meteor Shower August 2010
I wait all year for this meteor shower. It happens every August and if the sky is clear it's an amazing sight to see. But it's not always clear and sometimes you can only see slight meteors trough the breaking cloud if your lucky. It has happened some years and is very disappointing, but not this year! This years was the best I have ever seen in all the years I've been watching it. It started years ago when me and my younger sister where out in the garden one night and saw some "shooting stars" so we stayed lying on the trampoline for hours watching. It wasn't a very clear night so didn't see to many but enough to be amazed. We looked it up and found out that it was the Perseid meteor shower and that it happened every August. That year we happened to see it on the last night, we decided that the next year we will do the same. We told my sister to watch out for them and eventually became the three of us and this year our youngest sister joined us. So it has become the tradition that every August we all head to the trampoline in the back garden with lots of blankets and big winter coats and lye there looking at the meteor's. This year the cloud got really thick and after a couple of hour we gave up because it was really cold. But at about 3am I looked out the window and the sky was clearer then I'd ever seen it so we headed back out and saw the best Meteor shower in all the years we have been doing this. It's amazing to see and very exciting when a huge on goes right across the sky. I'm already excited for next year and even though nobody knows where we will all be this time in a year we will always still watch it and I'm sure love every minute of it!

What I wanted to be when I grew up!
I've been thinking lately about when I was very little and how I was always being asked what I wanted to do when I grew up. I was always so sure that I didn't want to be a hairdresser but I was going to be a hairdresser. Somewhere along the way that never happened, i was also going to be a fashion designer but that never happened either. It's not that I didn't try i did actually try really hard for both, I worked in a hairdressers part time when I was in school and I also studied fashion design for a year when I finished school. I guess they where just not for me for whatever reason I had I just couldn't be both or either for that matter. So what I've been thinking is how many people have become what they where destined to do at the age of 5 or 6? How many people always wanted to be a nurse and now are or a fire fighter and now are or on their way there? So whats so different in the people who did become that and the one's that didn't? Was it determination or lack of interest that did or did not make them become that? It just baffles me really. Maybe it's the person and how they lived their adolescence. Maybe they found something better or that suited them more as they grew up. All I know is I'm now grown up and I still haven't a clue what I want to do. I'm sure I am not the only one. I just wish I could make up my mind and more than anything to have been like those kids that always seemed to have their lives planned out because for a lot of them it's working out the way they always wanted!

What I'm reading
This is currenly the book I've been reading. I have only read the first couple of chapers but really liking it so far. I bought it in a charity shop a while ago, I spotted the name of the author and after loving other books by her I knew I'd like it. In the last year I read "When the boys are away", "Something to talk about"and "The loving kind" all by the same author. I never really stick with the same author as I seem to go though fazes of liking different types of books. but this one I can't get enough of I already have a list made of her books to look for the next time I go book shopping. It's very strange to think that a few years ago I hated reading! I didn't have the patients to sit and read a few pages. It's so different now, if I don't have a book to read when I'm finished the one I'm on it will drive me crazy. I know that sounds funny but it's true I love to just sit and open a book and before I know it it's hours later! If only I could have been like this with school books I'd have been a genious haha!

Maybe my new favorite
I'm really starting to love these slim n trim smoothies. Got one to try a couple of weeks ago and can't get enough of them since. Havent tried the chocolate one yet because they never seem to have the ingredients in stock. The straberry is lovely though. It's made with a weight loss formula and I always get zinsing in it. I don't know if it actualy works to help lose weight but it doesn't hurt to try and it's really nice too.
First Post
So I thought that I'd start a blog to post eveything that I'm up to and to keep track of it all. Hopefully I will actually remember to post things and keep it up as I'm really forgettfull! I'm really interested in fashion especialy shoes so I see alot of posts being about new shoes that I have bought or really want but can't afford haha. I think I'll leave it at that for my first post and hopefully lots more to come!!
